padlet

Quite possibly one of the easiest and most versatile tools to come out the past few years is www.padlet.com

It has a very simple and user friendly set-up, works across multiple devices and allows for multiple media to be easily shared.

Once you select “create a padlet” you have options for different displays.  Each of these displays differently and may suit differing purposes.  For many purposes, the grid and stream format work better as they organize contributions in a way that is easier to follow and navigate, but other options may also work well.  It is likely best to experiment with them to find the one that best works for your context.

Once you’ve created your page and have the background set as you’d like it, you can also choose the privacy setting you’d like.  Notably, those with access to the padlet can add to it without divulging personal information, but you may require them to do so.  Padlet does provide different privacy settings if you are interested.

Once created, those with access (for example, you can share the link for your padlet on Moodle.

One of the most powerful things about Padlet is that contributions can be quite varied including just text, audio, video, images, and attachments.  In other words, most kinds of typical media can be readily utilized.
